Prepare to be amazed by an up-close encounter\, granting you an extraordinary opportunity to observe and photograph these magnificent birds of prey like never before\, surpassing what you would typically experience in the wild. \nNational Camera’s expert staff will be present\, alongside Tamron Rep Mike Pazandak\, Swarovski Naturalist Market Manager Clay Taylor\, and the “Birdchick” Sharon Stiteler to provide invaluable insights\, tips\, and tricks for identifying and/or capturing images of these Birds of Prey within this controlled environment.  \nWhether you’re a seasoned photographer or a beginner\, Mike will help you make the most of your long lenses and master the art of photographing these captivating subjects. DESCRIPTION:Film Photography at Como Conservatory\nEducation Celebration Week\nSunday\, August 4th\n \n  \nFILM PHOTOGRAPHY AT COMO CONSERVATORY\nJoin NCE instructors for a film photography workshop at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory on Sunday\, August 4th at 12pm. This event is for 35mm film photographers looking to enhance their photo skills and build their film portfolio—it’s also an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded photographers! \nUpon arrival\, we will meet up as a group outside the entrance to the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory for check-in and a brief introduction. We will explore the gardens inside and outside of the conservatory\, offering a diverse range of botanical subjects\, garden landscapes\, and architectural lines for you to capture. Additionally\, our instructors will provide a creative film photo challenge handout to spark your inspiration\, including tips and photo prompts to use during the workshop. After our initial meet-up\, feel free to explore the area on your own or stay close to our experts for personalized guidance. We’re here to help with whatever you need! \n• • • • •  \nREGISTRATION: $40\nRegistration closes at 5pm on Saturday\, August 3rd. Tickets are limited\, so be sure to reserve your spot early! \nRegistration includes a single roll of 35mm film and a voucher for developing and scanning your negatives ($25 value)! \nWhat to Bring: \nBring your own film camera preloaded with the film stock of your choice. NCE will provide each attendee with an additional roll of 35mm film that can be used during the workshop\, or for personal use at a later date. \nFull Event Details: \nPlease provide a working email address when purchasing your ticket.
