On Saturday\, dive deeper into OM SYSTEM gear with two hands-on photo walks: Birding & Nature Photography in the morning and Street Photography in the afternoon. \n• • • • • \nBirding & Nature Photography with OM SYSTEM\nJoin us on Saturday\, May 3rd\, for a morning of bird and nature photography at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve in Savage\, MN\, led by OM Ambassador Emilie Talpin\, OM SYSTEM Rep Joel Quiggin\, and NCE photo experts. \nMurphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve is a hidden gem in Northeast Scott County\, offering a peaceful wilderness filled with glacial ridges\, rolling hills\, and dense forest. This largely undeveloped park provides a prime habitat for a variety of wildlife\, making it an ideal destination for nature photographers and birdwatchers alike. Designated an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society\, the park is home to numerous woodland songbirds and other native species. \nWe’ll meet at the Murphy-Hanrehan Trailhead for a brief orientation before heading out to explore and capture images of the park’s diverse birdlife and landscapes. Emilie\, Joel\, and the NCE team will offer guidance on camera settings\, lens choices\, and composition\, along with tips and techniques to enhance your birding and nature photography. Whether you’re looking to refine your skills or simply enjoy a morning immersed in nature\, we’re here to help! \n• • • • • \nOM SYSTEM Loaner Gear\nA limited selection of OM SYSTEM loaner gear will be available\, including a selection of camera bodies and telephoto lenses—perfect for capturing wildlife shots. If you plan to borrow gear\, please arrive during the check-in window\, as loaner gear is limited and available on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nPlease note: You’ll need a valid ID to check out loaner gear and a blank or formattable SD card to take your images home. \n• • • • • \nRegistration: $40\nRegistration for this event closes on Friday\, May 2nd\, at 12 PM (Noon). Tickets are limited\, so be sure to reserve your spot today!! \nFull Event Details: Please provide a working email address when purchasing your ticket. You can expect an email from us around 1 PM on Friday with full event details.
