DESCRIPTION:Intro to Flash Photography Workshop\nEducation Celebration Week\nSaturday\, August 3rd\n \n  \nINTRO TO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY\nJoin Jason Brown from National Camera as he teaches you how to take the fear out of using your flash. In this workshop\, you will learn how to take control of your flash and understand how to differentiate the lighting on your subject from that on your background. We will demonstrate how to use the flash on and off the camera\, the best ways to modify the light to avoid harsh shadows. \nAfter the presentation\, we will head outside for the hands-on portion of the workshop. Jason will work with you to practice using flash to enhance your outdoor photos\, so remember to bring your camera and your flash.  \nDon’t currently have a flash? No problem! We’ll have select flash units on hand for you to use and share during the workshop. \n• • • • •  \nREGISTRATION: $30\nRegistration for this event closes at 10pm on Friday\, August 2nd. Tickets are limited\, so be sure to reserve your spot early! \nBe Prepared: \nPlease arrive a few minutes early\, so we can begin the workshop on time. The presentation will be held in our classroom on the second floor of the building\, which is accessible by stair or elevator. The shooting portion will be held outdoors in the greenspace behind the building.  \nPlease Note: \nWe will not be sending an email for this event\, so please be sure to read through the description entirely for full details.
