This workshop is great for beginners and intermediate photographers who want to take their portrait photography to the next level. \nWe will begin with an overview of the foundational aspects of exposure settings\, white balance\, depth of field and lens focal length and how they work together to create a dynamic image. Additionally\, understanding the impact of lighting is crucial for creating successful portraits. We will talk about the quality of light\, light modifiers and the best time of day to plan your portrait session. After the presentation\, Becky and Taylor will take things up a notch\, giving you a hands-on demonstration of posing techniques. Plus\, they’ll dish out some extra tips on how to effectively communicate with your subjects\, helping you capture the exact shots you’re aiming for.  \nFinally\, we will have models on site for the last segment of the workshop to put what you have learned into practice\, with Becky and Taylor to assist you along the way. Sony will also be providing a selection of loaner cameras and lenses for workshop participants to use during the event\, if you want to try out any new gear.  \nYou will leave this workshop with more confidence and inspiration for your next portrait session.
