Led by NCE educator and professional photographer Becky Clark-Dullinger\, this hands-on session will help you refine your skills and explore new creative possibilities. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to enhance your technique\, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of composition\, lighting\, and visual storytelling. \nWe’ll begin with an introduction to the key elements of still life photography\, followed by a live demonstration on lighting\, composition\, and scene styling. You’ll gain insight into how light shapes atmosphere and how thoughtful object placement can create a sense of story and emotion in your images. After the demo\, it’s your turn to create! Work with a diverse collection of curated objects\, backgrounds\, and textures\, experimenting with different lighting setups and compositions while receiving personalized guidance along the way. \nWhat to Bring \n\nCamera: DSLR\, mirrorless\, or film cameras are welcome.\nLenses: Focal lengths between 50mm and 100mm are ideal\, but there’s flexibility depending on your creative approach.\nTripod: If you have one\, bring it along for added stability. NCE will provide a limited amount of tripods for use during the workshop.\nMemory Cards & Batteries: Be sure to bring extra memory cards and fully charged batteries.\n\nWe will provide LED lighting equipment\, reflectors\, and tripods for attendees to use during the workshop. \nEach attendee will take home a full-color\, spiral-bound workshop guide\, filled with key techniques\, creative exercises\, and expert tips to continue exploring still life photography beyond the workshop. \n• • • • • \nSaturday’s workshop is Sold Out!
