Part One: Online Seminar // Thursday, October 23rd • 6-7:30pm
Photographing animals at the Zoo in the fall offers unique opportunities, from seasonal colors to interesting animal behaviors. Join us on Thursday, October 23rd, where expert staff from National Camera will cover lens selection, composition tips, and techniques for shooting through fences and glass. The seminar will run for about an hour, followed by a Q&A session—bring your questions!
Part Two: In-Person at MN Zoo // Saturday, October 25th • 10am-3pm
Put what you learned into practice during this hands-on session at the Minnesota Zoo. Capture animals in the rich fall environment, and don’t miss the chance to photograph the Red Panda! We recommend bringing longer telephoto lenses for outdoor photography and prime or fast lenses for indoor areas to make the most of available light.
