About National Camera Exchange
Family owned and operated for over 100 years, National Camera Exchange provides expert customer service along with the largest selection of photo & video products in the Midwest. We would like to thank all of our valued customers whose loyal support has sustained us for the last 100 years.
In 1914, Herman Liss opened a small storefront in downtown Minneapolis with one used camera and a promise to treat customers with respect and dignity. With humble roots we started out as a small photo store selling film, cameras, and accessories, specializing in used equipment and trade-ins.
Today, National Camera Exchange is still family owned by third generation president Jon Liss, remaining true to the same service commitment his grandfather and father applied to the business throughout the last century.
Whether you are an amateur or a professional, you can count on the experienced staff at both of our metro locations to provide unparalleled, personalized service. Many of our photo experts have been with us for over twenty years and have the expertise you need to answer all your photographic questions.
At National Camera Exchange we believe that great customer service happens before, during, and after your purchase. We believe that it is important for our customers to feel valued and heard. We believe that our great customer service is what differentiates us from others.
National Camera offers the largest inventory of photographic equipment in the Midwest and one of the largest inventories of used and collectible cameras and lenses in the nation. We are committed to stocking a full line of the finest cameras and accessories from all the major brands to ensure we have what you need when you need it.

The Governor of Minnesota has announced that all non-essential businesses must close for a two-week period beginning Friday, March 27th, to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. As a result, we will not be able to ship orders until the "Stay at home" directive is lifted. Please do not place an order if you cannot wait. We will process all shipments in the order they were received when shipping resumes. Dismiss
