The world has lost nearly 3 billion birds in North America alone since 1970 – but conservationists see hope for their future in new technology. Join Dr. Miyoko Chu, renowned scientist and ornithologist who led the creation of the Merlin Bird ID app, and experts at the Minnesota Zoo to learn how technology-fueled conservation efforts in the field, in our backyards, and at the Minnesota Zoo are helping secure a brighter future for threatened bird species.
This year, National Camera and OM SYSTEM will be on-site showcasing the latest gear and technology for wildlife photography, birding, and observation. Attendees can see and try equipment that helps photographers and conservationists document, monitor, and study bird populations.

The benefit will be held at the Radison Blu Mall of America on Thursday, April 16 from 6-9pm. The dress code is smart casual.
