In light of the current situation with coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to share that National Camera Exchange is taking steps to conduct business in a safe and responsible manner. We value our community and the health and safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We plan to do our part to help limit the spread of this virus, and will continue following the recommendations of the CDC, the Minnesota Department of Health, and state and local government.

With widespread vaccine availability and the ongoing progress against COVID-19, the CDC recommends that fully vaccinated people can safely resume most indoor/outdoor activities without wearing a mask or face covering. Masks and/or face coverings remain strongly recommended for guests and employees who are not fully vaccinated. Though we do not require proof of vaccination, we ask for guests’ and employees’ responsible and respectful cooperation with this revised policy. Some of our staff and customers may choose to continue wearing masks, and we support their right to do so.
Employees are continuing to participate in enhanced safety and cleaning measures, and are required to sanitize items and their surrounding areas frequently. Any staff members that feel sick are required to stay home until healthy. We plan to reevaluate procedures regularly to ensure the continued safety of our customers and staff.
Our showroom is open to walk-in customers! As always, our first priority is the safety of our customers and staff, and we are following state and local government COVID regulations and implementing our own safety protocols in order to continue keeping the showroom open safely.
Face coverings are not currently required for fully-vaccinated employees and customers.
We appreciate our customers doing their part in social distancing when possible and wearing a face covering if not fully vaccinated. For customers who prefer not to come indoors, our online, phone, and curbside services remain available. Our Photo Experts are available during store hours in person or via phone (763.546.6831) to assist with any questions you may have regarding your equipment or specific imaging needs. New and used merchandise continues to be available in-store and through our website at natcam.com. We are also happy to help assist you in placing your merchandise order via phone.
Please note: Our in-store self-service kiosks remain temporarily closed to the public.
Digital print services (including prints up to 12×18 and posters up to 40×60) can be ordered online at print.natcam.com from the comfort of your home. Same-day services may not be available depending on the current workload. Select canvas prints, metal prints, photo gifting and photo card services have been resumed (see website for product availability). Scanning services are now available including: print-to-print scans, 35mm negative and slide scans, bulk scans, and flatbed scan services (up to 8×10). We are also accepting 35mm and 120 color and black & white film for processing, as well as video transfer and file recovery services. Larger canvas prints, metal-on-metal prints, and larger flatbed scan services remain temporarily suspended.
If you are interested in trading in used gear towards a new purchase, we’re happy to help! You will need to provide the make, model, and serial number, as well as any accessories included with your gear. We will offer a value for purchases already made or can apply it toward a current purchase of equipment. Outright purchases of your gear (without a trade) will depend on our current inventory as well as the item that you would like to sell. Please call with any questions.
Our Rental Department also remains closed at this time.
Curbside pick-up is available to customers for orders placed online or by phone. We recommend purchasing your items via credit card, but we are able to accept cash payment if necessary. Be sure to request curbside pick-up for online orders if you do not want your order to be shipped. Please call for assistance.
We will contact you when your order is ready for pick-up. Call 763.546.6831 when you arrive at our Golden Valley store, and we will prepare your item(s) for you to come pick up. Please be ready to inform us of the item(s) you are there to pick up, to help us expedite the process.
If you prefer to have your items shipped to you, free shipping continues to be offered for all online orders over $50. Please expect possible delays as our staff is limited during this time, but we will work to ship your orders out as quickly as possible.
Our in-person Next Step Classes remain suspended until further notice.
One-on-One Sessions are currently available on a limited basis, depending on current staff availability. Please contact us via phone for more information and scheduling.
We will continue providing regular online webinars with our vendors and have begun to resume smaller outdoor in-person events, weather permitting. We plan to continue expanding our classes, events, and add virtual One-on-Ones in the coming months and are looking forward to providing educational services in a larger capacity. We value the educational experience that we are able to offer to our customers, and we remain dedicated to being a continued resource for our local photography community. Our Roseville location is permanently closed, as of May 2020. This decision was difficult but necessary, as it allows us to continue serving your photographic needs for years to come. We are sad to say goodbye to Roseville, but we are excited for the possibilities the future brings as we continue to help you capture, create, and inspire.
Our Golden Valley store is our sole location in the Twin Cities area, but we can always be found online at natcam.com. If you have any previous photofinishing or repair orders still remaining at Roseville, they can be picked up at Golden Valley. Please call with any questions.
