Join OM SYSTEM Ambassador Chris McGinnis for a private, after-hours macro photo walk at the beautiful Como Conservatory in Saint Paul, Minnesota. With exclusive access to the Sunken Garden and Palm Dome, you’ll have the unique opportunity to photograph in a quiet, lush setting that’s full of vibrant color, intricate textures, and macro subjects hiding in plain sight.
During this hands-on event, Chris will demonstrate how he finds and photographs his favorite subjects. You’ll learn how to determine strong compositions, work with available and supplemental light, and make the right technical decisions that result in sharp, detailed photos. Whether you’re using OM SYSTEM gear or another camera brand, Chris will guide you through techniques for maximizing depth of field, managing focus, and bringing out the best in your macro subjects.
This event is perfect for anyone curious about exploring the macro world, and it is open to photographers of all experience levels. You’ll leave with fresh inspiration, practical skills, and a deeper appreciation for the small details that often go unnoticed.
