Join us as we explore the world of fine art floral photography with an in-person workshop at National Camera on Saturday, May 18th. This workshop is aimed at photographers of any skill level who would like to learn how to create fine art floral images using simple tabletop setups and controlled lighting.
Led by Natcam instructor and seasoned photographer Becky Clark-Dullinger, we will begin the workshop with a brief introduction to the key elements of flower photography, followed by a live demonstration of studio lighting techniques. Becky will share her step-by-step approach to lighting the subject that includes a combination of artistic vision, technical skill, and creative expression. After laying the groundwork, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and dive into hands-on exploration! During the hands-on portion of the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate through a variety of curated tabletop stations designed to inspire your creativity. Under the expert guidance of our instructors, you’ll learn the art of composition, lighting, and capturing intricate details as you photograph a variety of botanical subjects.

Laowa Loaner Gear: Laowa will be providing a selection of macro lenses for participants to try out during the hands-on portion of the workshop. Please be sure to have your ID with you if you plan to check out any lenses during the workshop.
