This class is great for those who want a better understanding of the significant role lenses play in the outcome of an image. Join expert staff from National Camera as we cover some of the most common questions about choosing the “right” lens and which features best suit your needs. There is no one-size-fits-all lens for most photographers, and in many cases, the style of photography will vary from person to person. Some of the key elements to consider include focal length, depth of field, and compression. With this in mind, we will highlight a variety of lens types recommended for Portrait, Sports, Wildlife, and Landscape photography. We will also cover the differences between entry-level and professional lenses, how sensor size affects which lenses are available to you, and the essential accessories to take on your next photoshoot. The seminar portion of this event will roughly cover the first hour and a half, followed by a Q&A—be sure to bring your questions!
