Night Photography @ Roseville

May 10, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$50.00

You don’t have to put your camera down when the sun goes down. Experience the fun of the city skyline at night through your camera lens. In this 2 part evening class, we’ll discuss how easy it is to capture stunning images at night, the equipment needed and post-processing effects. Taking what you learned, the night will conclude with a “hands on” adventure photographing the Minneapolis skyline.

Equipment to Bring

  • Camera – DSLR/Mirrorless is recommended or a camera that has manual capability.
  • Tripod – There will be a small amount available to borrow, but it is recommended you bring your own.
  • Lenses – Bring your camera bag for optimum shooting experience. A focal length of 100mm for a full frame sensor or 70mm for a cropped sensor is an excellent size for our location.
  • Flash – We will be demonstrating night photography flash at our location. We will have some flashes to use but not enough for everyone.
  • Remote Release – optional, but handy to help eliminate any camera shake.
  • Flashlight – Essential to be able see your camera in the dark.
  • Clothing – Dress appropriately as it may be cold.

Our location will be at the intersection of Hennepin Ave and Main Street.  Parking at the Nicollet Island Pavillion. A map will be provided at the class. We will also be discussing carpooling options as well.
