Part One: Online Seminar
Part Two: In-Person Photography Event
Part Three: Online Image Review
PART ONE // ONLINE SEMINAR
In the first part of the workshop, we’ll host an online seminar with Sony Imaging Specialist Ashley Ondricek, where he will cover general knowledge on pet photography and provide tips and tricks to help you capture stunning images of your furry friends. From camera settings to composition, you’ll learn the fundamentals of pet photography from the comfort of your own home.
Don’t currently have a Sony camera? No problem! Many of these tips will help you no matter which camera you’re using. Sony will also be providing loaner gear for the in-person event on Saturday if there is a camera or lens you’ve been wanting to try out!
Bring your questions! We will have a Q&A session with Ashley following the seminar.
PART TWO // IN-PERSON EVENT
In the second part of the workshop, we’ll meet in person at Secondhand Hounds where you’ll have the opportunity to put what you learned from the online seminar into practice. Ashley and photography experts from National Camera will be on hand to provide personalized guidance as you capture images of the adorable pets provided by rescue volunteers and foster partners.
Sony will be providing loaner gear during the hands-on portion of the workshop for you to try out! Please note that all camera brands are welcome and you are encouraged to bring your personal gear. Please note we may not be able to address specific questions regarding different brands.
PART THREE // ONLINE IMAGE REVIEW
We will conclude our three-part pet photography workshop with an online image review where you’ll have the chance to showcase your best shots and receive feedback from our instructors. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or a pet owner looking to improve your skills, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to have fun, learn something new, and support a great cause. Come join us for an event full of furry fun and photography and help us make a difference in the lives of our four-legged friends.
