Experience a fresh perspective on animal photography this spring at the Minnesota Zoo. Spring offers unique photographic opportunities—animals are more active, and the energy of the season brings new life to every scene. This three-part workshop is designed for photographers of all skill levels, combining educational instruction, hands-on shooting, and expert feedback to help you capture compelling images and elevate your photography.
Put what you learned into practice during the hands-on portion of the workshop, with guidance from Katelynne and additional NCE staff. Photograph animals across a variety of Zoo environments, adjusting your techniques as lighting and animal behavior change throughout the day. We recommend bringing a telephoto lens for outdoor shooting and a fast or prime lens for indoor exhibits to make the most of each setting.
Check-in will take place at a designated location, where you’ll receive your admission tickets. Full event details, including the meet-up location and GroupMe chat link, will be included in your event email.
All three parts of the workshop are included in the ticket price, along with parking and admission to the Zoo.
