Join us for a special U of M Raptor Center Event sponsored by Tamron. A raptor handler from the U of M will present four different raptors individually during which you’ll learn about what makes these birds raptors, and what makes them stand out within that group. Be awe inspired by an up-close experience and have a rare opportunity to photograph these striking birds of prey closer than you would ever get in the wild.
Tamron Tech Jared Powers will provide tips and tricks to using long lenses to photograph these Birds of Prey in this environment. Tamron lenses will also be available to try out during this event on a first come first served basis.
This event is part of our Education Celebration weekend, August 20–22. Visit us in-person for a weekend full of fun educational opportunities, giveaways, and savings on select products. All of the demos, classes and workshops will be held outdoors.
