Join us at Eastman Nature Center as we celebrate World Migratory Bird Day on Saturday, May 14, 2022. This event kicks off the Big Year of Birds year-long celebration with Three Rivers Parks District.
NATIONAL CAMERA + CANON REPS ON-SITE: 8AM-2PM
Learn the difference between binoculars and how to get the most enjoyment out of your sports optics with demonstrations by National Camera’s Optics Specialist, Kevin Smythe. Kevin will be on site from 8am-2pm to answer questions about a variety of sports optics gear on display for this event. In addition, a select variety of loaner binoculars has been provided by National Camera for you to try out for yourself!
Local Canon Rep, John Stoilov, will also be joining us with a variety of cameras and lenses on display. Learn about the differences between camera models and lenses, and which gear can help you capture your best birding image yet! John is an expert in his field and will be on site from 8am-2pm to provide helpful tips, answer questions, and will have a select variety of cameras and lenses for you to try out.
LOANER GEAR AVAILABLE FROM: 8AM-1PM
Loaner gear will be available to check out until 1pm. The loaner gear will be first come, first serve, and will be limited to one-hour increments. You must provide a valid photo ID to check out gear.
A FULL DAY OF FUN:
There will be a variety of fun outdoor activities and nature walks throughout the day at Eastman Nature Center between 7am-5pm, click here for more information from Three Rivers Parks.
