Nikon’s black 10×42 ProStaff 3S Binocular features silver-alloy coated roof prisms and anti-reflection multi-coated optics that produces bright and clear high-contrast images with true color rendition across its entire field of view. To help offset visible hand-shake often associated with 10x power and higher optics, Nikon built this binocular with a wide 63° apparent angle of view to limit disorientation and improve the observational experience in most lighting conditions, and even in the most extreme weather. Complementing the optical performance are construction details that make the binocular durable and comfortable to use. It has a lightweight and durable fiberglass-reinforced polycarbonate chassis, and is protected by black rubberized armor that is textured to give it a non-slip grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof – especially in extreme weather conditions. A right-eye diopter adjustment allows the binocular to be customized to most people’s needs, and the combination of long eye relief and twist-up eyecups ensure comfortable use with or without eyewear.
