Optical Design

Focusing System

• The AF drive system employs TAMRON’s fastest, most precise VXD linear motor focus mechanism. While operating at speeds faster than ever before, the drive also maintains positional accuracy down to 0.005mm (0.0002 in), which is less than one-tenth the width of a human hair.
